Funding formula for casinos

A change in the funding formula for Ontario’s casino’s could give Niagara Falls get a $20 million windfall for its two casinos…

The city currently receives three million dollars a year. The new formula would give Niagara Falls a percentage of the slot and table game revenues. A Toronto casino would receive about $53 million. But Mayor Rob Ford has said he wouldn’t accept a casino deal with the province for anything less than $100 million.
