CHCH welcomes residents for Doors Open

CHCH took hundreds of residents on a tour through the studio, during the 11th annual “Doors Open Hamilton” event this weekend.

This was the first year CHCH took part in “Doors Open,” and nearly 1,400 people came through the studio to see the newsroom, control room and meet some on-air talent.

Dozens of other buildings, that aren’t usually open to the public, welcomed residents on Saturday and Sunday.

There were more than 50 stops along the “Doors Open” tour, including the recently restored Lister building.

Organizers say there were more than 30,000 site visits last year, and expect there were even more this year.
