Hudak attacks Wynne in Question Period
Premier Kathleen Wynne came under fire this morning at Queen’s Park.
The Tories are unsatisfied by her testimony
given in front of the justice committee yesterday regarding the McGuinty government’s decision to cancel two gas plant projects in the final days of the 2011 election. PC leader Tim Hudak says Wynne evaded basic questions.
“It seems to me the very basic first thing you’d ask for….Premier you wanted the job, you campaigned for the job, you asked for the job, I ask you respectfully, why aren’t you doing your job?”
Wynne says the numbers were and continue to be in constant change. She says it is necessary to wait for the full auditor general’s report to get a clear picture of the costs. That report is due out in June.
