Gandza death update

The city of St Catharines is mourning the loss of a couple described as compassionate animal lovers.

Jill and Ron Gandza were killed last night while walking along a highway in the Bahamas. Police say it was a traffic fatality. Mia Gordon found out that Jill, who had just recently retired after being a nurse for 32 years, and her husband, would often visit the island hoping to make a difference.
