Man charged in Welland crash

A 38-year old man is facing impaired driving charges, after an early morning crash in Welland that sent four people to hospital.

One car crashed head-on into a parked car at Coventry Road and Lincoln Street, sending a 17-year old St.Catharines woman to Hamilton General Hospital with serious injuries. A 20-year old man from Niagara Falls, who was also in the parked car, is being treated at Welland County General. The accused is being treated in Welland as well. A 40-year old man from Welland, who was with the accused is at Hamilton General with serious injuries. Salvatore Mancuso is facing three-counts of impaired driving causing bodily harm.
