Police look for escaped sex offender

Hamilton police are asking for the public’s help in finding an escaped sex offender.

57-year old Stephen Jones is a psychiatric patient at St. Joseph’s Psychiatric Hospital. He was last seen on Friday, April 19th at 2:40 p.m. Police say he is considered a danger to the public and has convictions for sex related offences.

Jones is described as a caucasian male, five foot six, approximately 150 lbs., with blue eyes, short grey hair, grey stubble and dentures. He was wearing a green sweater, blue coat, gray coat, blue pants and black boots.
