Crown seeking to try Badgerow 4th time
A former Hamilton steelworker could become the first person in Canada tried four times for first degree murder.
The crown is looking to take Robert Badgerow to trial for a fourth time.
Prosecutors have filed 5,000 pages of documents and a nine volume appeal book with the court of appeal.
The proceedings against Badgerow began in 1998 when he was arrested and charged with the 1981 murder of Diane Werendowicz and the attempted murder of Debbie Robertson.
