Claremont access closed for repair work

The Claremont access in Hamilton will be closed this weekend for repair work.

Crews will be doing some preventative rock scaling work on the escarpment.

The city is closing all lanes in both directions, in case there’s any falling debris.

It is closed from 7 Saturday morning to around 6 Saturday night, and again during the same hours on Sunday.

Hamilton Street Railway says service will not be affected.
