Norfolk Power Inc. has been sold to Hydro One Inc. for $93 million.

Norfolk Power, owned by Norfolk County, decided to sell the business, after the utility became a liability due to provincial regulations. Norfolk Power delivers hydro to 18-thousand customers in Simcoe, Port Dover, Waterford, Delhi, and Port Rowan. Hydro One says it’s excited for the new customers and employees. The sale still needs to be approved by the Ontario Energy Board.
