Norfolk crash kills 2 on weekend

A crash northeast of Delhi has claimed the lives of two Tillsonburg women; one of whom was born and raised in Hamilton.

The car that the two women were in left Old Lasalette Road and went into a deep ditch before slamming into a tree. 19-year old Meagan Lofthouse and 21-year old Brittany Wardle were declared dead at the scene. Wardle graduated from Sherwood Secondary School and was attending Wilfrid Laurier University. She was described as an outgoing person who loved to dance. A funeral service for Wardle will take place this Wednesday at 1pm in the Verhoeve Funeral Home Chapel in Tillsonburg.
