Good samaritans sought

Police are looking for some good samaritans who rescued a woman trapped in an overturned pickup in a creek west of Hamilton.

The truck went off the road and rolled over into the creek Wednesday night in Brant County. Police say passing motorists helped pull the 41-year-old female driver from the submerged truck in near-freezing temperatures. Police say some of the rescuers left without giving their names, and they’d like to get in touch to thank them.
