Child’s death not criminal

The Hamilton Police Homicide Unit has finished its investigation into the death of a 6 week old baby boy on Christmas Eve.

Police say there is no evidence to suggest any criminality in this death. The child arrived at McMaster Children’s Hospital the night of December 23rd in medical distress. The next morning, staff at the hospital called police, and the child died shortly after they arrived, with undefined injuries.
