Updated It’s said to be safe and legal – but really isn’t.

Halton Regional Police are warning the public tonight about a drug sold in convenience stores called Izms. They were getting questions about the so-called safe drug marketed as “legal” marijuana. But after analyzing Izms Health Canada found cannabinoids in the product, making it illegal.

The drug has been sold in some convenience stores and online. On its website the company says the product – which is designed to be smoked – gives the same effect as marijuana.

Melissa Raftis tells us what police will be doing about it.
