Beamsville house fire

An overnight fire in Beamsville caused significant damage to a waterfront home Sunday.

Fire crews were called at 1:45 Sunday morning for a house fire on Sandy Cove Drive, off of the North Service Road.

It took nine trucks about four hours to battle the blaze. Two dogs were rescued from the house, but nobody else was home at the time.

The cause of the fire hasn’t been released at this time, and there is no estimate as to the the cost of the damages.
