Report on Ontario debt

A stern warning Thursday from the Fraser Institute.

It’s report, ‘The State of Ontario’s Indebtedness’, says that if the province continues to spend more money than it brings in, our financial outlook is bleak. It warns that Ontario’s debt is higher than California’s and, if something isn’t done, it could soon be compared to that of Greece. The report challenges Premier Designate Kathleen Wynne to control spending, particularly on health care and education while there’s still time.
