Flood warnings for Golden Horseshoe

Conservation Halton is warning people to stay away from bridges, culverts and dams, because of a risk of flooding.

Unseasonably high temperatures are on the way for Tuesday afternoon and evening.
Water levels in the area are expected to rise to near the banks in creeks because of the mix of warmer than normal temperatures, rain and snowmelt we’re experiencing.
Some flooding is expected throughout the region in low lying and flood prone areas.
