Temperatures won’t thaw for days

If you’ve been outside today, you know how cold it is – and the frigid weather is expected to linger until the weekend.

We’ll have to brave the cold for a few more days, but temperatures are expected to get back above zero by early next week. These minus double-digit temperatures we’ve seen the past couple days can be deadly for people who can’t find shelter. According to Environment Canada, exposed skin can freeze in 10 to 30 minutes once it dips below minus 25, so make sure you cover up with lots of layers; hats, gloves and scarves.
