Weapon at Hamilton school

Police were at Mountain Secondary School in Hamilton Tuesday after reports came in that a student had a weapon.

A 16 year old male student was found to be in the possession of crack-cocaine.

Police also found a pellet gun.

According to officials, the gun was not displayed or pointed at anyone.

The teen has been charged with possession of an illegal substance with the intent of trafficking.
