Niagara meeting to focus on cuts

Outraged residents in the Niagara region will discuss the impact of job loss and public service cuts in their communities at a town hall meeting Saturday.

They are frustrated with provincial government cuts and plan to pressure their local MP’s to fix the situation.

The meeting will also address the fact that Niagara is tied for the fifth highest rate of unemployment of 33 cities in Canada.
