Hamilton police are investigating three fatal collisions over this past weekend.

On Friday, a 69 year old man lost control of his pick-up truck and struck a tree in Flamborough.

Investigators believe he suffered a medical emergency before the collision.

On Saturday, a 22 year old man was ejected from a truck while he was holding onto a mattress at the back of the vehicle.

and Sunday, a car struck and killed an 87 year old pedestrian in Dundas, making this Hamilton’s 18th traffic fatality.

Kathleen MacLeod was crossing Governor’s Road in front of her apartment building when she was struck.

The driver of the car, a 44 year old Flamborough man, was not injured.
