Second arrest in Hupfield Trail murder

A second arrest has been made in the first Toronto murder of 2012.

20 year old Jamahl Franklin was found shot to death by police who responded to a call at a New Years party.

On Wednesday at 8am, 23 year old Mauro Granados-Arana was arrested while already in custody on an unrelated matter.

He was charged with Second Degree Murder.

Back on January 6th, 22 year-old Baptists Bernier of Toronto was charged with second-degree murder.

Police are requesting any witnesses who were at the party at the time of the victim’s death to come forward.
