Hamilton school put in hold and secure

Hamilton police have confirmed Strathcona Junior Public School is no longer in hold and secure mode.

Police say it was a precautionary measure after reports of a distraught person in a home nearby.

The hold & secure was in effect from about 11am to 12:30 Monday afternoon.
