Halton Police have released more pictures from their investigation into the notorious ATM blowtorch bandits.

Earlier this month the police released security video of two thieves who break into buildings during the night, cut open automatic teller machines and run off with the cash. Now the police have come up with more pictures.

The two men have carried out these ATM raids at 50 stores, malls, and other businesses across Ontario and Quebec – sometimes getting in and out in less than a minute. They use a blowtorch to open the ATMs, then grab the cash and run to a getaway car. So far they’ve stolen over $700,000. Police say these two are fast, efficient and know what they’re doing.

But the police have now released closer shots of one man described as a person of interest. He’s in his 40s or 50s with greying hair, has a medium build and walks with a limp. Pictures show him with a black jacket or grey vest and a black baseball cap. The pictures were taken by surveillance cameras before break-ins in Mississauga, Richmond Hill and Toronto.

The police still have a $25,000 reward available for anyone who helps them catch and convict these two ATM thieves.
