Dog walker assaulted in Hamilton

A 62 year old man walking his dog in east Hamilton was struck with a metal pipe, after an altercation with another dog walker Tuesday.

The man was assaulted after his dog ran towards another man and his dogs.

The 62 year old retrieved his dog and began walking away, but was later assaulted.

41 year old Donald Wardrope of Hamilton has been charged with two assault charges and uttering death threats.
