House fire in Milton

No injuries in milton house fire

No one was hurt when a house fire in Milton forced a family out late last night.
Fire crews were called to a rural home on Twiss road about 10:30 p.m.
It appears the fire started in the furnace area of the basement and spread to the first floor.
Thee family inside called the fire department after the house filled with smoke.
The official cause and an estimate of damage are still under investigation.
