Bayonet leads to charge in St. Kitts.

A man is facing charges after entering a bar on Merritt Street in St. Catharines last night carrying what looked like an assault rifle with a bayonet attached to the front.

Police say the man started pointing the gun at people inside.

It was later discovered the weapon was just a pellet gun customized to look like a real rifle.

However, the bayonet was real.

The man is now charged with possession of a dangerous weapon.
