Woman arrested in Hamilton slashing

Hamilton police have arrested a woman after a stabbing at Main Street East around Gage Avenue South Sunday.

Police say a woman had slashed another woman’s arms with a knife.

The 23 year old who was stabbed was taken to hospital but is expected to recover.

37 year-old Nadine Mascioli is now facing assault and assault with a weapon charges.

Police say the women knew each other.
