Downtown violence injures four people
Several people are in hospital, after violence at Queen and Main Streets in Downtown Hamilton late Friday night.
That area has since reopened, but it was closed Saturday morning and most of the afternoon for police to investigate the stabbing, which injured four people.
Two people have been released from hospital, while the other remain there in stable condition.
Police won’t confirm the victims were stabbed, but Hamilton EMS says two men in their 30’s with stab wounds were taken by ambulance to hospital, while the other two went to the hospital on their own.
Police have not arrested any suspects at this time, however a pizza shop owner in the area has handed over his video surveillance which caught the entire altercation on tape.
