OPP reminding drivers to belt up

A reminder from the OPP to buckle up. They’re launching a two-week seatbelt campaign today.

The force says 20 percent of all deaths this year on OPP-patrolled roads were caused by people not wearing, or improperly wearing their seatbelts – including children who aren’t properly restrained in car seats.

If you’re not following seatbelt rules,you could face a fine up to $200 and two demerit points.
