Niagara police expanding search

Niagara police are expanding their search to try and identify the woman whose torso was found in the niagara river last Wednesday.

The land and water search will stretch from Chippewa, to Fort Erie.

Investigators have examined 50 missing persons cases, and not one matches the victim.

New York State police have also been doing the same.

Police do know the torso belongs to a white woman aged between 31 and 55.

Investigators say no tip is too small or insignificant.

They’re also asking people to check on family, friends and co-workers they haven’t seen in days.
