No injuries from Burton Street fire

Police say an overnight house fire on Burton Street in Hamilton is suspicious.

Firefighters say no one was home at the time, but the structure has been severely damaged.

The house near Hamilton General Hospital is being rented out, and the last tenants left about a month ago.

Damage is estimated at around $150,000.

The Ontario Fire Marshal’s office is now investigating the cause of the fire.
