Horses shut down QEW

Two horses shut down the Toronto bound lanes of the QEW in Niagara Falls early Friday.

The palominos got out of their pen near Lyons Creek Road, forcing police to try and contain them until their owner and animal control officers arrived.

The horses eventually sauntered back to where they came from.
