Niagara officer charged
Another Niagara Regional Police officer is facing criminal charges.
The officer in question is 54-year-old Jeffrey May.
May has been charged by the OPP in the Bruce Peninsula detachment with mischief, theft and trespass by night.
The alleged incident occurred on Monday.
The OPP say they will release additional details Friday.
May has been a police officer for nine years.
At the time he was arrested, he was assigned to administrative duties.
This makes at least 4 Niagara region officers who have been charged with a crime so far in 2012.
