Truck spill in Burlington

Traffic was tied up on Appleby Line in Burlington Thursday afternoon, after a tractor trailer spilled its load coming off the highway early Thursday afternoon.

The truck was turning north onto Appleby from the QEW Toronto bound when its trailer flipped over.

It was carrying hydro transformers, which spilled onto the road.

The north bound lanes on Appleby Line were closed, while crews clean up the area.

The truck driver, who was from the Barrie area, wasn’t hurt.

Charges are pending.
