Service Ontario kiosks still out

Service Ontario kiosks are still out of order, but the province is weighing the risks of re-opening them.

All 72 kiosks have been out of commission since card-skimming devices were discovered on four machines in the Greater Toronto Area.

The illegal card readers can be used to steal information from customers who use the self-serve machines to renew their licence plate stickers.

There’s no word yet on how many people may have had their card information stolen.
