Memorial rally at St Joe’s

Updated Crowds gathered today in front of the West 5th campus of St Joseph’s Healthcare in Hamilton.

They paid tribute to Michael Brewer, who was beaten to death last month by another in-patient at the forensic psychiatry unit. As Lauren Pelley learned, organizers of today’s memorial rally say this tragedy is the final straw after years of warnings about safety issues at the hospital.
