Supporting our troops

So many Canadians have been – and continue to be – on the front lines risking their lives for our country.

Some of them even risk their lives on our streets to keep us safe here at home. As Melissa Raftis tells us tonight, Hamilton Police are kicking off Support Our Troops month with a ceremony honoring local police officers who also serve in the Canadian Armed Forces. She brings us the story of Detective-Sergeant Robert Gauvin, who served in the NATO-led response to Libya.
