Police are still on the hunt for the person responsible for a shooting inside Toronto’s Eaton Centre that has left 1 person dead and 7 others injured.

The shooting occurred around 6:20 p.m. Saturday inside the mall’s lower food court. A 25-year old man was pronounced dead at the scene. A 13-year-old boy and a man in his 20s were rushed to hospital in critical condition while two men and a woman were taken in serious condition. All were suffering from gunshot wounds. A 30-year-old pregnant woman was also injured during the rush and went into labour.

According to Toronto Police Chief Bill Blair, “The injuries to the man who was killed suggest that he was the targeted victim of this shooting, but there are a number of other people who were clearly innocent bystanders going about their daily lives.”

Police have a decription of the suspect but have yet to release it.
