Stabbing leaves man with serious injuries

A stabbing in central Hamilton Monday night has left a man in his 40’s with serious injuries.

The man underwent emergency treatment in hospital overnight.

Meanwhile, detectives tried to interview residents in the neighbourhood near Sanford Avenue and Cannon Street.

Hamilton Police were called to the area just after 10:30 Monday night after the man was stabbed inside a vehicle.

Investigators are still trying to determine the motive and no arrests have been made.
