2nd Hamilton assault suspect arrested
Both are accused of recently beating a woman with a metal pole.
A 24-year-old woman was invited inside a home on Holton Avenue South and assaulted April 7th.
She told police a woman attacked her first, then was joined by a man.
She suffered serious, but not life-threatening injuries and tried to escape several times, but was prevented from leaving.
The ordeal lasted several hours, before she was able to leave and fled to a nearby restaurant where ambulance and police were called.
She has since been released from hospital.
33-year-old Michael White was arrested Tuesday 4am after he was spotted in the back of a taxi at King Street West and Caroline Street.
He is charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, forcible confinement, uttering death threats, and several breaches of probation.
The search for a second suspect is over.
23-year-old Kayla Harrison was found at a home in the Gage and Barton streets area Wednesday morning and arrested.
She faces similar charges and is expected to appear in Hamilton court for a bail hearing today.
