St. Catharines woman charged with fraud

A 67 year old St. Catharines woman has been charged with fraud and theft over $5,000, after more than $30,000 went missing from a Royal Canadian Legion account.

Phyllis Hewitt is said to have taken the funds over a five year period from the Port Colborne legion’s charitable lottery trust.
