Linc reopens after crash probe
Updated video The Lincoln Alexander Parkway was reopened Monday afternoon, more than 16 hours after a crash involving a Hamilton Police cruiser.
Police had closed the parkway around 9:30 Sunday night after a man had threatened to jump onto the Linc.
A cruiser was parked in the eastbound lanes just west of Garth Street blocking traffic when it was hit on the passenger side by a vehicle. The officer and a 56-year-old woman driving an SUV were taken to hospital for minor injuries and released.
The man did eventually jump.
The SIU was called in and is heading the investigation.
