Niagara police chief out of hospital

Niagara region’s police chief is out of hospital..

In a statement Friday, the Niagara Police Service says Chief Wendy Southall has been released from hospital and is now resting comfortably at home.

Her family expects she will make a full recovery.

It’s still not clear why she went to hospital on Monday.

And her family has asked for privacy.
