Miner dies in Sudbury

A miner in the Sudbury area has died and now police and the Labour Ministry are investigating.

The 47 year old miner died in an accident at Vale’s Coleman Mine in Levack.

Vale has temporarily suspended operations at its Sudbury-area mines.

The name of the miner has not been released.

Two miners were killed last June at Vale Sudbury’s Stobie mine.
