Three Toronto overnight shootings

Toronto police are investigating three overnight shootings in their city.

A teenager is in critical condition after a shooting at a downtown hotel.

The 17 year old was shot in the lower back inside the Bond Place hotel on Dundas Street East near Church Street.

Witnesses report hearing four gunshots just after 11 Wednesday night.

In the second incident, a 22-year old man was shot in the back in northeast Toronto.

He was taken to hospital just before nine last night in serious condition.

The shooting happened in a parking lot behind a pharmacy on Birchmount Road near Sheppard Avenue East.

And in the third incident, the shooting victim underwent emergency surgery at St. Michael’s Hospital after he was found on St. Clair Avenue about 4:30 Thursday morning.

Witnesses on a TTC bus say there was a trail of blood for more than a block along St. Clair.

The victim also had cuts and bruises to his head.
