Arrest in York homicide

A 22-year-old man has been charged with murdering his own mother.

It comes after police found a 58 year old woman inside her King Township home Monday night suffering from stab wounds.

Hilda Roelink was rushed to hospital where she later died.

Her son, Andrew Roelink, is now charged with second degree murder.

He made a preliminary court appearance Tuesday.
