Toronto police still on hunt for suspect in child sexual assault
The young girl allegedly abducted from a Toronto home and sexually assaulted has been released from hospital.
Toronto police say the girl, who was visiting from Connecticut, was snatched from a home near Bathurst and Wilson Avenue around 3 a.m. on Monday.
Police are still looking for the man who allegedly took the little girl.
Family members say they saw a man fleeing after the girl was found minutes after being taken.
Police describe the man as white, in his early 20s, between 5’6 and 5’10 with an average build. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket or sweatshirt with a red stripe, and a toque or hat.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
