Toronto pedestrian killed

A woman — believed to be in her mid to late twenties — is dead after being hit by a mini school bus in Toronto Wednesday morning.

It happened on Jane Street, north of Finch Avenue.

Police say the bus was making a left turn when it struck the woman.

They say it appears the driver didn’t see her in the crosswalk.

No children were onboard at the time.
