Verdict in Glen Davis murder case

The verdict is in for the murder trial of Toronto philanthropist Glen Davis.

A jury has found a home renovator guilty of first degree murder, but couldn’t reach a verdict for the alleged middle-man.

Ivgeny Vorobiov, who was a suspect in the 2007 shooting, was found guilty of first degree murder.

But the judge declared a mistrial by hung jury in the case against Dmitri Kazzarine.

The 66 year old Davis died in an underground parking garage after he was shot in the heart and back in 2007.

Davis’ 41-year old Godson Marshall Ross pleaded guilty to first degree murder in October and received an automatic life sentence with no chance of parole for 25 years.

Ross admitted to being the ‘mastermind’ behind the murder.
