Man arrested in Hamilton shooting

Police have arrested a man with a gun, after a 16-year-old was shot in east Hamilton.

The victim, who is not from Hamilton, was found with gunshot wounds to his foot near the 7-11 on Melvin Avenue Sunday night.

Police also seized a gun and drugs.

The shooting happened at a basketball court near Martha Street and Grimsby Avenue.

Investigators believe two other people were involved.
